I opened this locus because the soil was still a medium brown with no clay floor soil in the SW part of the trench. After troweling this area out, I found the dimensions of this locus to be the line of soil change. This locus is located south of locus 20, along the balk, and bordered by the NW wall. There is a large boulder in this locus and after troweling, it appears this boulder will stay. It is quite large. The soil here is starting to look clay like. I shovelled down this locus after troweling a few areas. No small finds, no charcoal samples, no soil samples. The soil in the Western part of this locus became clay like and light brown. The soil along the balk in the eastern part of this locus was light brown, but not as clay like as the soil to the west of this locus.
