This locus was created to after seeing a soil change from dark brown to medium brown in locus 7-which was designed to take down the baulk.The soil is medium brown and light brown at the bottom, where I suspect the floor may exist. This locus is bordered by Cynthia\'s trench (WSS1), locus 8, locus 10, and the NW wall. This locus does not extend as far as the previous locus, locus 7, because there is a feature in the SE corner of the trench, which will be a different locus (locus 12) and because the soil change slopes with the floor. It is lighter in the SE part of the trench and darker toward the NW part of the trench heading toward locus 8. I found a worked bone in this locus.
