Remarks

Locus 11 is presumed to be the floor of the room that is associated with the lower wall. The matrix is a packed clay, exceedingly packed in places, and throughout are small specs of charcoal, none large enough to collect. The locus covers almost all of the trench, that is, all of the area contained by the lower stone wall (subsequently created as locus 12 and 13). Bone densities are thus far higher than ceramic densities, which are thus far lower than they have been in the higher loci. The top elevation of locus 11 at center is 1.19 b.d. 1 (other top elevations can be found on page 26 of the notebook).
