This vessel found was uncovered within locus (tomb) 22. It is highly diagnostic of EBII wares. It is black on black burnished ware with a small 1cm decorative handle at the base of the neck. There is a thin line around the perimeter of the base of the neck. There is a small flare at the lip of the vessel. Like loci 34 and 35, this vessel is comprise of multiple parts: an angular and slightly elongated base, short rounded body, neck and lip. The similarities among the three vessels remain striking. Their profiles, decorative handles, and thickness are all similar. While they differentiate in size, based on their morphology it is clear that they are all the product of EBII production. This is the only one of the three vessels found within the chamber, and the only one that is entirely complete. This vessel will be sent for restoration.
