This context refers to the human remains immediately surrounding locus 55, the northernmost tomb in T38. These human remains, which consisted of skull fragments, a mandible, metacarpals, etc. all seemed to belong to an incredibly small individual -- likely a baby or infant. The position of these remains -- wedged under burial architecture in a somewhat haphazard state -- suggests secondary placement. The presence of suslik bones, moreover, attests to the disturbed nature.
