    Remarks

    Layer located in the NW portion of T46. It covers part of the NW facade of Wall 1 and lays directly on bedrock. It is equivalent to locus 4 and 8, but it was excavated separately as part of the northern extension. It is made of light brown silty sand matrix. Materials from this portion of the trench are not abundant, but an andiron fragment typical of the EB I was recovered from this area.
