Place: Ar/Ts.C4.4

Locus 4 is a pit dug into the clay of locus 3. The soil is a mottled loose clay. Pit is located in the center of the trench and runs underneath the line of small stones that we did not remove that extends from the north balk into the trench. Material densities were moderate. A large amount of animal bone is notable but ceramics were also present. Most seem quite late. Some charcoal and/or blackend soil. Among the finds was a large antler tool--probably a hammer. Also included large piece of LBA sherd.
