Place: Ar/Ge.T19.107

Locus 107 consists of a thick layer of mixed soils and dense cultural materials which overlie the LB bedrock terrace, between the eastern bedrock slope and the terraced EB strata in the west end of T19. Hypothetically, locus 107 is a later LB midden, and was formed as a result of cumulative discard events, all subsequent to the terracing of the bedrock and EB strata, and to the construction of the primary LB wall (locus 118). excavation of this locus started 29.6.2008, and the locus was closed with the rest of the trench 25 July 2008. Located vertically between the boulder collapse locus 106 and the bedrock on the east side: in the west, locus 107 underlies later LB walls (loci 119, 120 and 121). in the norht baulk of the primary trench of T19, locus 107 underlies the elusive pit/feature locus 113. Hypothetically, locus 107 directly abuts the EB soils of loci 108, and 112 underneath LB wall locus 119.
