Place: Ar/Ge.T19.524

This locus consists of a grey/dark brown silty loam matrix. We found another shell (like the one found in L514) in the screened dirt from L524 (Ar/Ge.T19.524.SH.01). We found half of a spindle whorl (Ar/Ge.T19.524.CO.01) just south of the large dressed stone. We took a large sample of charcoal (Ar/Ge.T19.524.C14.01) from the southern part of the locus.
There is a fair amount of bone coming out of locus 524, some of them burned. We found a piece of charcoal (3 cm in length) (Ar/Ge.T19.524.C14.02) near the center of the locus. There is another linear, black stain (with precisely defined edges), which runs east-west and is just west of the wall fall in the eastern part of the trench.
