Place: Ar/Ge.T19.526

The soil in this locus consist of the light brown/yellow silty loam matrix. There is an area of soil with bright yellow inclusions (likely highly organic) is a small circle (45 cm diameter) which is located on the border between L525 and L526. It is a very thin lens (2 cm thick). The black staining continues down in L526, though the soil on the sides of the locus look more grey/brown than yellow/brown. We took a piece of charcoal as a sample for radiocarbon dating (Ar/Ge.T19.526.C14.01) from an area of black staining, just south of the large, dressed stone on north wall of the trench. We found another piece of charcoal just north of L527 and east of the LBA wall which we took as well (Ar/Ge.T19.526.C14.02). We found a piece of worked stone (Ar/Ge.T19.526.L.01).
