Matrix: under capstones-a light brown w/ rodent disturbance & some gravel inclusions. The bottom was very mottled, with red-orange matrix similar to locus 9/western chamber, with compact dark brown friable matrix, and then grey sandy patches that may be decayed granite.
The circular contours of the chamber seem to start w/ white/chalky grey matrix at -2079.97 in the north, 2079.87 in the south, and 2079.81 in the east. The west/north is a little different because we are folloing down a line of rocks and don't have the whitish contour.
The lower part of the chamber was grey sand, according to the geologist-river sand. all skeletal materials and artifacts were in this matrix. It was more compact under the 2 skeletons.

RM report: Skeleton I
Preservation - significantly decayed skeleton. Preserved diaphisis of long bones, fragments of cranial vault, teeth, vertebral column, and innominate bones--all distinguished by the contour of bone dust.
Situation/Position of skeleton - flexed, on the right side with W-form lower extremities (legs). Bones of left hand are flexed at humero-ulnar joint and raised to face. After decomposition of muscles, the cranium rolled down on thorax, which was slightly lifted and supported on two vessels (locus 38/#4 & locus 39/#5).
Sex: Male. Distinguished according to expressed relief of external surface of occipital (external occipital crest, inferior nuchal lines) and both temporal (linea aspera) bones.
Age: 35-45yrs. Estimation based on degree of mlar wear and obliteration of lambdoidal suture.

Skeleton II
Preservation of skeleton - fragments of left frontal and parietal bones, deciduous teeth. Mandible and ribs are very fragmented. The long bones of upper and lower extremities were not discovered. There are two explanations for this situation 1) decarnation or 2) not preserved.
Situation/position of skeleton - on the right side. Under adult.

Age: 1.5yrs. Age estimated according to deciduous teeth eruption and root formation.
