This is a typical convex LB base fragment with oblique hatching, likely from a rather small vessel. The surface colors are rather light, but the core is a mottle black, with some reddish black elements throughout. The fabric is rather friable in general, crumbly. Limited mica popping on the exterior surface, no visible corrosion.
