10.25.06 A very unusual rim to neck sherd of a large bowl or basin. The long rim turns inward creating almost a ledge over the top of the vessel. The rim is quite thick, and longer than the concave neck. The exterior surface is abraded and may also have been polished. Interior polishing is seen only in traces. The surfaces are too mottled to measure Munsell colors. The interior ranges from orange to brown and the exterior is a range of tans and browns. The rim is rounded pointed.
