A fragment of a handle that seems to include some sort of decorative element, in all likelihood morphic. The sherd is extremely black burnished. Surfaces are very smooth. There is a small bump or projection below the handle, and another possible elaboration of some sort on the left side, just at the break. The shape of the handle is oval and its profile is bowed. I suspect this is something zoomorphic.
KK 4/9/12: changed the form of this handle to 'morphic' as part of comparative project.
