7/8/06 Groundstone metate, likely only a portion of an unidentified shaped tool. Flat on one side, sightly worked on the other. The grinding surface is curved and shaped to form a possible rim / lip. Hackley fractured across the instrument. Significant amounts (40%) of white corrosion fill the basaltitic pores as well as cover the flat areas of all surfaces.
