Core band 2 color should be 2.5YR 4/2 Weak Red. While the exterior color is listed as black, a significant portion of the neck and rim are light yellowish brown, a highly mottled exterior surface. The light brown mottling continues onto the sherd interior, to the internal side of the neck. Horizontal polish lines extend from this internal location to the exterior and down the entire exterior surface. There is a lot of abrasion evident on the external rim and neck surfaces, especially at the neck/shoulder junction where most of the external slip has come off. While the two lines of oblique hatching run in parallel across most of the exterior surface, they begin to converge and mix at the right boundary of the sherd. Breaks are rough and the core mottled and crumbly. The interior surface is 205 covered by white corrosion, the exterior 20% covered by white corrosion. Some mica popping on the interior surface.
