Core band should be Reddish Brown 5YR 4/3 only. Exterior surface should be 7.5 YR 6/1. This cup has an immensely corroded external surface, perhaps 90%. The original external color seems to have been the same as the Dark Grey internal color. The line ornament is extruded rather than incised, producing a sharp line of clay at the neck/shoulder junction. Below the line sit two registers of oblique hatching running in parallel. There may be another linear decoration between the hatchings, but not enough of the vessel is preserved to say for sure. The past is compact and dense, with excellent slips. The internal surface is 30% covered with light gray corrosion. There is some mica popping on the exterior. Breaks are smooth.
