Core band 2 color should be 2.5YR 4/3 Reddish Brown. This is likely the base of a huge pithos, it\\\'s just difficult to say without knowing if the vessel is truly restricted. The interior surface color matches the blackness of the band 1 core, but the partially roasted and carbonized nature of the internal surface suggests that this vessel was heavily impacted by the Gegharot fires, unlikely that it was used for cooking. The internal surface is also 20% covered with white corrosion and horizontal basket/textile impressions. These impressions are visibily circular on the base portion of the fragment. Similar striations or impressions are present on the external vessel surface, but there they are skewed. Mica pops are also present on the external surface. The circular base hatches are 3.2cm long on average--this high similarity suggests the same exact tool was pressed in the same way for each hatch. While the fabric is dominated by fine sand inclusions, coarse and medium sand particles are also present. Breaks are rough an completely covered in light gray corrosion.
