Not clear if this sherd has external decorations, must ask Pavel. A confusing arrangement of possible comb striations and a possible thick polish ornament is present just below the neck. Where the rim meets the neck a press tool has been used to crimp and round the rim to the vessel wall, creating a flat line. There is light polishing visible on the upper 2cm of the vessel internal surface, but this may be from abrasion as it is present nowhere else. Rim surface is slightly abraded from use. The fabric is compact and rather uniform in texture, with some coarse sand fragments interrupting the fine sand dominated matrix. External surface includes rotational striations and the internal includes possible fabric/textile impressions. Light yellowish brown corrosion is present on 10% of the external and 30% of the internal surfaces. Breaks are smooth.
