1st core band should be 2.5YR 3/1 Dark Reddish Gray. 3rd core band should 2.5YR 2.5/1 Reddish Black. No room above, but the 6th decorative register is followed by another linear tool furrow. The sherd should be stanced so that the ornament registers form a slightly drooping ring, not the reverse where they are rise and fall. The cores features two outer layers that are both visibly delaminated from the central band in the break. The internal surface, connected with core band 1 is highly roasted and separated into several sub layers. This is likely from the Gegharot fires. Only 60% of this layer/surface is still present, and much of that heavily abraded, originally approximately 2mm thick. The core also includes a large amount of coarse sand particles in addition to the fine sand mentioned above. Faint rotational striations on the external surface. Breaks are smooth and there are visible mica pops on both surfaces.
