The external surface of this large shoulder sherd is highly mottled with light browns and grays, a significant contrast to the almost coarse, dark internal surface. Both surfaces are 30% covered in light yellowish brown corrosion and rotational striations are only visible on the external surface. The ornaments consist of a single band of lower left to upper right nail shaped decorations, followed 1.5cm below by an applique belt of clay which hosts oblique hatches, also lower left to upper right. About 20% of the applique belt has spalled off the shoulder. Coarse and medium sand is also present in the fabric and large inclusions are visible poking through the external and internal surfaces.
