This is a highly polished red rim to body sherd of a bowl. The rim is unusual; it moves inward slighly from the body with an ever so slight concavity on the exterior that enhances the point at the tip of the rim. Yet this concavity isn't mirrored on the interior, where instead there's a contrary outward bulge before narrowing to the same point.
