Is this a pot or a jar? It\\\'s very difficult to judge the project shoulder on these and therefore restricted v. unrestricted status. While the beginning of the external shoulder is clearly polished, the neck and rim may never have been polished, retaining a color very similar to the internal surface. The vessel seems to have been polished up to the neck and then the comb decoration applied, six lines of which are present, seeing as the comb lines have no burnish INSIDE of them. There is limited orange corrosion and mica popping on the external surface. A flat tool seems to have been used to tuck and cement the rim, judging by the shape of the underside rim edge. There is significant use abrasion on the rim surface from use. Horizontal impressions/scratches are visible on both surfaces. Fractures are rather smooth.
