A short-necked LM jar that has a very distinctive, angular appearance, as if it was produced from a mold. The rim is 2-part indented, but there is no option for that listed above. The inferior, exterior rim edge appears to have been cut or formed with a sharp tool. The decorative schema consists of a single register of circumferential nail-shaped impressions (3 are preserved) superimposed on the second line of a set of 7 (visible) comb lines, all on the upper shoulder. The universal dark coloration of the vessel fabric and surfaces is notable. Circumferential rotational striations are visible on both surfaces, in higher, tighter frequencies on the exterior (the interior striations are more deeply impressed). The exterior surface is 10% covered in light brown corrosion. In addition to the medium sand noted above, significant fine sand is also present in fabric. Significant amounts of inclusions perforate the interior surface. Pyrite poppings are visible in both surfaces. A series of organic burnouts are visible on the exterior surface. Breaks are rough.
