This is the wash layer that appears to lie above a clay surface in the N and E quadrants of the room in WSC3. Its boundary with Locus 5 is moving as the surface is revealed, but its NW side is 4.6 m long and its SW side is 4.05 m long. The soil is a silty medium brown matrix. The top elev above is from the approx center of Locus 6. The elevs of the corners, clockwise from the N corner, are 2141.577, 2141.397, 2141.487, 2141.307 in the W corner. One radiocarbon sample.
