    Corner uncovered while excavating north of locus 4 L.B. wall. Soil within locus 7 is very dark brown clayish loam. 50cm into locus we sampled a beam in the north baulk that is recorded as locus 8. Another carbon sample was taken about 40cm below the corner next to what looked like a L.B. rim sherd. The new wall corner itself is locus 9.
