collected 29.6.2008. relative coordinates: 0.83 m south and 6.60 m west of the NE corner of the trench. the absolute z coordinate is 2200.972 masl. this sample was taken from the dirt lying at the intersection of the rock collapse and the grey clay protofloor, at the eastern extent of the trench near where the bedrock slopes down to the floor.
