Locus 7 is the earth below the capstone.from B.NE:-95. NW:-83. SW:-95. SE:-97. C:2126.142End: NE-266. NW:-254. SW:-260. SE:-270. C:2126.562.There are three matrixes in this locus. The west side of the trench is an orange brown clay matrix with gravel/decayed rock inclusions, iot dries very loose/not compact though, and a lighter beige. The second matrix is a dark brown silt loam with some clay, all very wet in the east side. There is also some of the orange matrix mixed in and small stones. However, it is much easier to excavate and almost all of the charcoal bits came from this matrix. There was also a dark grey sandy (or very fine ground rock) on the east side, under which was the orange matrix with some charcoal and then the orange gravely matrix. The sandy matrix started at (SE:2124.782 and NE:2124.822) and was ?cm thick. 1 bag of bone-1 piece of unidentifiable bone from NE corner. 1 piece of rodent fauna from SE. 1 bag of charcoal-small bits of charcoal from the east side.
