Either a bronze hook or an awl that has been bent into a hook shape. The proximal end tapers to a flat-hammered tang from a 4-sided shaft. The shaft becomes circular in section and tapers towards the distal tip. It appears to be complete, but the patina/oxidation layer has been scraped off at several points.
