A conical ceramic piece, flattened on both ends and penetrated, but not perforated, longitudinally by a cylindrical recess. This "hole" proceeds approx. 50% through the object--from the narrower end of the cone towards the wider end. The wider end is not flat or level, one side extending longer away from the narrow end than the other. This end also features what may perhaps be a small 1cm square area of finished, smooth clay, suggesting that it may be a finished, distal end. The long sides of the object are unevenly smoothed, with small visible transitions between the sub-surfaces, almost like a cannelure. The piece is highly abraded on all surfaces.
