This matrix is distinguished from locus 5 in that it has fewer gravel and cobble inclusions, still has a high clay content but also sand. It is a lighter color and much easier to excavate although still wet. There is another bone--so far unclaer whether human or animal but long bone. There are a few small roots and 1 rodent bone so far.
