A spherical stone tool--perhaps a hammerstone--with a half-centimeter-deep indetantation on one side. It is likely basalt due to some evident pores, but the majority of the surface is remarkably smooth. The almost universal gray corrosion color also makes the material identification difficult. Perhaps dark gray basalt underneath.
