LM fragment featuring intense, high frequency circumferential rotational striations on all surfaces. The interior slip is thicker than the exterior slip--almost thick enough to be a core band. While the exterior body is black and polished, as noted above, the exterior base is Reddish Gray 5YR 5/2 and unpolished. The exterior body polish marks are vertical and unevenly spaced, typical LM "dripping polish." the entire exterior is abraded, scratched, and slightly crazed, while the interior is homogeneous in color and very well preserved. Compact fabric, well fired. Besides the very fine sand, medium and coarse sand inclusions are also present in the fabric, in moderate frequency. Inclusions of all sizes perforate both surfaces in limited frequencies, including pyrite particles. Breaks are rough.
