This is a fragment of an EB zoomorphic andiron, likely from a ram's horn. That would make it typical for the Karnut-Shengavit type. It consists of the superior "crown" of the horn and the lower, bordering fringes which connect to the rest of the figure. The surface of the horn is slipped and smoothed and features three basic sides, with significant evidence of wiping. The fabric appears to contain very coarse sand inclusions and significant evidence of fired-out chaff.
