KA beaker fragment featuring an unperforated handle and one register of decorations--a large, hatch-filled zig zag punctuated by taller, independent oblique hatches. The designs are framed by annular lines. The lighter interior color proceeds all the way to the rim's second part (superior surface). The sherd is not at all polished, but the exterior surface sparkles in the light, perhaps from micaceous or pyritic inclusions. While the dominant inclusions consist of medium sand, there appears to be a nearly equal amount of fine sand. Upper portio of the interior surface is darker, towards the rim, perhaps suggesting intense use, or the employment of a lid. The interior surface features rotational striations or fabric impressions. No evident corrosion.
