Likely a relatively small KA beaker with one register of geometric designs--a hatch-filled siz-zag punctuated by independent vertical hatches--between two linear decorations positioned at the neck/shoulder transition. The ornaments give the impression of a line of half-filled triangles, so similar pieces may be described as such. The two bordering lines give the impression of a "band" decoration. Annular impressions/striations are present on the interior surface. Breaks are smooth. While the primary inclusions mentioned above are very fine sand, there is a significant amount of fine sand present as well. The exterior was clearly polished originally, but it has been so seriously abraded that the polish is only present in the surface grooves and relief ornamentation. The rim is also highly abraded, the superior surface very irregular. No evident corrosion.
