A large-diameter KA bowl which features a register of alternating oblique hatches and rows of obliquely arranged impressed dots on the lateral, second part of the 2-part rim. Both the interior and exterior surfaces are highly abraded and scratched, and at least 50% of the polish has been removed--especially from the first, most superiorly positioned rim part, a sign of intense usage. The interior and exterior polish marks appear to have originally have been horizontal; they are densely positioned and blend easily into one another. The internal very dark gray shade bleeds over from the first, medial rim part to halfway down the second rim part. Fine sand is present in equal proportion to the dominant medium sand particles noted above. There is a significant amount of black corrosion on the superior break adjacent to the preserved rim, where up to 75% of the surface is covered. Breaks are hackly.
