A miniature handmade cup, undiagnostic in terms of form and decoration, but found in the burned, ashy LB locus 17 (which contained many diagnostic LB ceramics). The restored vessel consists of 4 joined fragments of all different sizes. While the entire interior surface is black from burning or use, half of the exterior is reddish brown and half black. While the core band color is noted above as Dark Reddish Brown 5YR 3/3 it is in fact Dark Reddish Brown 5YR 3/2. There are several visible, vertical finger impressions running from base to rim around 75% of the vessel. Difficult to say if these are formational remnants or decoration--probably both. Small amounts of medium and coarse sand grains are also present in the fabric. They are mostly black in color and they perforate the external and internal surfaces in many locations. Breaks, there are two small ones present, are rough.
