A large fragmented from the shoulder/body portion of a medium-sized, high shouldered LB jar--after restoration the new fragment consists of 10 joined sherds and one small gypsum fill area. Sherds from AB4.06 also joined to this vessel. There are over 20 additional fragments from AB4.06 and AB4.08 that clearly affiliate to this vessel as well--based on surface treatment, fabric, etc.--but no clear joins between those pieces and this large restored portion of the vessel were apparent. The decoration schema, located above the b/s transition, consists of a single circumferential incised zigzag immediately followed by 11 comb-made. The final comb line is slightly wider than the others, suggesting that it is possibly made separately, possibly a "furrow" instead. Both the internal and external surfaces are highly abraded, but which the internal surface has lost different building slab layers, the external surface is more "pocked" with spalls and missing circular areas (none of which ever perforate the entire object). The internal abrasion has revealed 3 clear layers in the vessel's fabric. From internal to external they are: (1) a very dark gray internal slip (with circumferential fabric impressions, (2) a thin very dark gray clay layer with dense amounts of very coarse sand, and (3) a thicker black layer with very coarse sand. Coarse and medium sand particles are also visible in the fabric. Breaks are rough and there is no visible corrosion.
