A handled beaker or KA pot with a small portion of a decoration register preserved on an embossed belt. The decorated portion of the vessel, at the n/s transition, consists of several oblique hatch decorations, running both upper right to lower left and upper left to lower right, sitting on a raised, trapezoidal belt created through relief. If more of the ornamentation were preserved it would be possible to characterize the decorations as purely hatches, of perhaps hatch filled triangles. The saddle-shaped handle extends over the entire neck, is perforated, but too small to be classified as a "grip" handle. Its meeting with the vessel rim essentially extends the rim out into a triangular shape--a rim "cap" atop the handle. The exterior surface is highly polished and densely covered in horizontal polish marks. The polish extends over the rim onto the interior, halfway down the interior neck, and the interior polish hosts high frequencies of crackalure. In addition to fine sand, medium, coarse, and very coarse sand grains are also present in the fabric, visible in all breaks. Breaks are rough and there is no visible corrosion on the fragment.
