An obolong, highly porous pumice object shaped or ground on all surfaces. One end of the object is tapered and slightly rounded. The other end is flattened and pocked. On one of the long surfaces, towards the flat end, is a deep slice or furrow which has been cut into the stone. In the center of the same surface is a small bump, a trapezoidal plateau which appears less smoothed than the rest of the object. The pores on the opposite long surface are larger, perhaps more ground. Pale yellow corrosion covers 30% of the object's surface. There are no polishing marks visible on on the pumice surface, so it may not be a polisher, but more of a grinding or whetstone tool.
