This locus is irregularly shaped in order to capture the lighter brown matrix that hugs the southeast and southwest walls, in the east corner of the trench. The precise dimensions can be seen in the notebook. Those indicated above are the maximum dimensions. Two elevation points were taken for both top and bottom. Those indicated above are taken from the center of the wider points of the locus. See notebook for other elevations. The deposit is a medium brown clayish silt--notably lighter in color that the dark brown wash in surrounding areas of the trench.
