After the cleaning locus (100) this locus was opened along with locus 103, in order to separate the trench in order to deal with the severe sloping from W to E in the trench. 102 is the western locus, with its western border along the wall (101), and it's eastern border at the 2.5 m mark along the N baulk. This is an arbitrary division.
