Oblong shaped, shallow pit located just east of large locus 15 pit. A large flattish stone was located in the upper section of the pit, but it was an odd shape and not the same size as the pit so didn't seem to serve as a cover for it. In any case, the pit didn't go much deeper than the stone, so probably wasn't a lid. No samples taken from the pit.
