This locus constitutes the more medium brown matrix that hugs the NW wall in WSAD and that remained after removing several large boulders on 7/19/10. This locus is more hardpacked than the darker loamy soil that still remains in the eastern and southern corners of the operation. See notebook for sketch and measurements; width given is greatest extent. The color change is likely due to leaching from the stones of the NW wall.
