Place: Ar/Ge.T27.09

This locus exists beneath the topsoil in T27 (L01) and is downslope from L07 and L06 (a built wall feature). It was opened in order to explore the area of T27 downslope from L02/L05 which to this point are the loci which encompass the heavily investigated area to upslope (along the W side) of the trench. L08 borders L07 and L06 to its W, the S baulk to the south, L09 to the north, and a line of large rocks to the east. The elevations given above were taken in the NW corner (other measurements can be found in the notebook) and length refers to the dimension of the locus in the N-S direction, while width refers to the E-W direction.
