This locus constitutes the remaining dark soil in WSAD, located mostly in the eastern and southern corners of the trench, and hugging a number of large stones against the SE baulk (see notebook for sketch and elevations, given is center). The locus is a darker brown matrix than the lighter brown matrix of Locus 10, and appears to be occurring in the same way as in WSAC; ie sloping towards the center of the room.
