This locus (declared and opened 7/22/10) constitutes the remaining darker loamy matrix of the overburden/wash in WSAD, in the eastern corner and abutting the SE baulk. This locus appears much darker than the medium brown/clay matrix to the NW, in the northern and western corners, and seems to imitate the excavation of the wash in room WSAC, as it sloped toward the center of the room. This locus also has three large stones in it, abutting the SE baulk; however they appear to be resting completely in the wash, and not on another level.
