This locus constitutes the remainder of a darker brown soil in operation WSAC, in the western corner, W of Locus 17 and abutting the wheelbarrow ramp to the south. The locus is more hardpacked and clayish than the black, loamy soil of the overburden, but is not the same brown/mottled clay of Locus 17. However it does have some lighter brownish orange splotches, again suggesting that it is not overburden. It also has a fair amount of small rocks and pebbles in it. It was declared 7/27/10 and opened 7/28/10.
