Remarks

This locus consists of the SE corner of T27, and as such represents one of two the loci that are the furthest downslope. This locus was opened in order to clear and reveal the E face of a wall made of large granite stones, the tops of which were visible on the surface. This line of stones roughly lines up with the large, rectangular block that was discovered in T22, just to the south. This locus represents the soil layer beneath the topsoil, so probably is a wash. The elevations given above are taken from the NW corner (all other elevations can be found in the notebook). Length represents the distance along the N-S axis, while the width is the measurement from E to W.
